I opened up this box yesterday, and WOW!! I love the way Marian of Utah did these gals hair.
She varied the styles. Sometimes using chain stitch, straight stitch and stem stitch. What a wonderful way to add your own personal spin on these Comfort Dolls.
Thanks so much!!
Smiles to All,

Totally unique and wonderful
ReplyDeleteSO nice to see all of the dolls that are still coming in. I just can't seem to get back into making some. I want to but life is getting in the way :)
Hugs and best of luck to you
Pati
Pati, so glad to hear from you. Boy does life ever get in the way!! I do love the fact that I get a new day every 24 hours, to start fresh!
ReplyDeleteSmiles to you,
Brenda
Somehow I lost contact with you ,am so glad to have found you again.
ReplyDeleteI run a village sewing group here in france and hope to ask everyone to make a doll when we restart in September.
Look! Another long lost follower!! I'm so happy you found me again!! How exciting about your sewing group. If you have a local shelter where you can donate your dolls, please do so, that makes so much more sense than sending them all the way to the States. Plus, it keeps your community involvement in your community, what could be better. I would love it if you sent some pics my way though so that I could post them on the blog.
ReplyDeleteIt was great to hear from you.
Smiles,
Brenda
