Here she is. Abagail: Fountain of Joy. Abbey had gotten to be a bit too big, just 6 inches, but, not really travel size, as that really is what she enjoys doing. So, when putting her into my purse, I did a quick fold and noticed that she created her own little wrap. Not only that, she then became 3 1/2 inches. She is now awaiting her friends to come join her on her first big adventure.

Brenda she is beautiful. You are a jewel to take on this wonderful project that Pat did such an amazing job with. I shall work on some comfort dolls to send to you. Keep creating...
ReplyDeleteBrenda so excited you are taking on this adventure. I have 2 questions...are you going to create a "Comfort Doll" button so we can post it on our blogs and do you or can you write instructions on making "Abagail"...I like how she is done?
ReplyDeleteBrenda, Good on you for taking this project on.Love this little cutie!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the input. I'd be thrilled to add a button so that you can post it on your blog. I'm a newbie to the whole blog thing so these kinds of wonderful questions, help me so much. 2nd...a pattern? WOW! I'd be so honored to make instructions on what I did. What a compliment!!

Hi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you took over this wonderful project. I have been following Pat's work for only a few months now and was sad to hear that she had to step down. I would love to participate in this project too. I am new to CQ, could you give me some measurements for these little lovelies? I will also watch for a pattern. I love Abagail.
Thanks
Hella
She is very cute.
ReplyDeleteI am sending three to you this week.
